Weaving today's quality into tomorrow's fiber

Tapestry Farm is tucked away in the foothills of the Williamette Valley on prime pasture and forested acreage in Molalla, Oregon. The farm is all about camelids and is home to huacaya alpacas, suri alpacas and llamas. We’ve recently increased our focus on sustainable agriculture to include chickens and ducks in addition to the full alpaca and llama production facility.

The goal at Tapestry Farm is to maintain the sustainable production of alpaca and llama livestock and fiber while adhering to ecologically sound agricultural practices producing a breeding stock with solid conformation, strong production function and selected for prime genetics to increase the quality of fiber. Since I focus on the fiber and not just color, I have a wide selection of colors with the diversity of Peruvian, Chilean, Bolivian and Argentine bloodlines.

Quality is Key…

  • Matching alpacas specific to your business plan - show, fiber, breeding
  • Diversity of award-winning Championship Herd Sires supporting the qualities you’re looking for. And you’ll find something for every female: fineness, density, uniformity, conformation.
  • Proven moms with history of low-risk deliveries and robust milk production
  • Distinct assortment of genetics
  • Fiber producers exhibiting long staple/lock length, soft handle and assortment of colors
  • Superior customer support – before, during and after any sale
  • Educational support for herd management, fiber production options and birthing/reproduction support
